At the 2023 "Kirch'klang Festival" Alexander played Krenek, Barber and Menotti organ-solo pieces at the concert "Amerika am Wolfgangsee". The other part of the concert was given by Thomas Hampson, the Auner Quartett and Magdalena Fürntratt.
"Kirch'klang" is a music festival in Salzkammergut, Austria, where it is the essence to go back to historical sites and make a connection between the location and the concert. In "Amerika am Wolfgangsee" the goal was to link the composers which stayed in St. Wolfgang at some point in their life into the concert. The program consisted of Samuel Barber and Gian Carlo Menotti, which stayed a few summers togheter in St. Wolfgang and Ernst Krenek, who also stayed there. The concert took place in the Pfarrkirche of St. Wolfgang. Right before the concert there was an event where a plaque was presented to honour both Samuel Barber and Gian Carlo Menotti.
